I've been busy working schoolwork the past year, along with a couple of costumes. I might post some of the stuff, but I'm not sure which things I'll post yet since I don't have clean scans of a lot of my schoolwork.

For me, comics-wise...I haven't been working on much because of an incredibly busy semester (stressful as well. I've been getting some bad headaches from the stress load). My art style has been really unstable lately as well, what with Life Drawing playing with how I draw stuff. I may post some of my drawings from class up, along with my paintings from Foundation Painting.

Since the last post...I finished Polka from Eternal Sonata. We entered the ALA08 Masquerade and won best group craftsmanship, and best voice acting!

Its been awhile since my last journal.
I guess I should give a quick update.

I know I haven't posted much art lately (mostly just cosplay pictures) but it doesn't mean I haven't been drawing anything. I'm finally getting around to finish up the sketchbook I start last year (and I'm nearly done!). I've been working on more comics as well!

Its been awhile since i've last sat down to work on a ton of comics, so and I have been working together on a RSOM entry, Flagship Mercury. She wrote the story, I drew/inked/paneled the pages, and she's going to be doing the screentones. We're actually working on a larger storyline for Mercury that we want to launch as a webcomic sometime in spring. We're still hashing out the storyline and characters, plus figuring out the world and character designs at the moment, and once our RSOM entry is sent, lee-buddy will be working on writing it (RIIIIIIIIGHT?)

After being in a comic funk after working on Mercury, I started to draw out the pages of a later chapter of Star Seeker. I know the first chapter isn't even done, but i want to work on this chapter now, even though its been going slowly. I plan to have it fully drawn and inked before scanning it, then I plan on coloring it, since i've never done a fully colored comic before.

You'll be seeing tidbits of Flagship Mercury every so often since i'm enjoying drawing a few of the main characters (I can't help how much i love the interactions some of the characters have with each other, they're so much fun to draw )

Cosplay wise....

Lets see...I'm also in panic mode finishing a costume for the ALA masquerade, but you don't get to know what the costume is until i post pictures...I'm looking forward to wearing it, even though its been irritating to make in the most part.

Earlier this year at PMX, , and I entered the masquerade in our Gurren Lagann costumes and won best of show!

It was a blast to do, and I enjoyed wearing Adiane again, even though I completely forgot to pack my tail (hence making parts of the costume made to fit around the tail start to fall off because they were too big without it)
